I was really stuck on what to do for my first blog post, but since it was my birthday on Friday, I thought I may as well do a 'birthday haul'! :) I don't want to sound like I'm showing off, I've just had a lot of people asking me what I've had for my birthday, so I thought it would be nice to show them instead of explain!
Firstly, since I was 17, I'm able to drive, so my first present, was my car!
I got a black Vauxhall Corsa SXI, 02 plate! I can't drive it yet, as it has no tax or insurance yet, but still, it's pretty exciting. My dad tied a blue ribbon around it because I'd mentioned if I ever got a car as a birthday present it'd be amazing for a ribbon to be wrapped around it. So yeah when I opened the curtains Friday morning, it was pretty exciting!
I also got a lot of nail things from my family. I'd asked for the 2 top shop nail varnishes which are in the picture, which are absolutely beautiful! Then I received all the other nail gifts randomly, but I love them all, especially the nail wraps with moustaches on, and the nail caviar. I know I'll use all of these products, so they're all great and I can't wait to try them out!
I got a few items of jewellery off my mom, and a chain off my friend Lizzie. My mom knows I love moustaches for some reason, so even though they were from Topman, she got me some earrings and a bracelet, which were both really nice and I love them! Then from Primark and Topshop, she got me some ear cuffs because my other one broke! I love them both, although I'm never going to wear both from Topshop at the same time else I'll look like Dumbo..
As well as jewellery, I got some make up! I got a makeup brush from Primark, EOS lipbalms and mascara (I can't remember which make) from my mom. I love the EOS lipbalms, they're sphere, and when you open up the tub it's a circular lip balm too! I've only used the summer fruits flavour, but it's so nice! I got lashes, eyeliner and pink mascara from my cousin, which I'm really happy about, because my eyeliner is running out so I can use that one when it runs out! And I got some body lotion and lipgloss from my friend Lizzie, I think they were from H&M. I haven't tried the body lotion, but the lipgloss is lovely. It's quite nude with a few sparkles.
Then I also got some random presents from people! A few things for my car from my mom and God family. I got a ice scraper and my L plates from my mom, and a first aid car kit from my God family, (who know me too well because I'll probably need it a lot). Then I got some 'Purr' Katy perry perfume (which smells SO good, and the bottle's so so cute), a disney princess fleece blanket which matched my birthday cake, Paranormal Activity 2 on DVD, a John Green book and a reading light because I loved 'The Fault In Our Stars' but couldn't read it at night, and a little bag from my Aunt and Uncle, who also bought me my car mats!
Ok so this present is quite random, but my best friend Lizzie (who also bought me the little gifts from previous pictures) bought me this. Although it's quite a strange present, I absolutely love it! It's a fortune cookie, made of real silver, which opens up. Inside it has 2 little dice which have 'yes' and 'no' and different acts like 'wash my car' on them, which is pretty cool. Other than I'm not sure what to do with it, because it's too beautiful to not use, but I don't want to put it on my keys as it will get lost.. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry this post has been about me so much, and such a ramble, but I just thought it would be a nice idea so I could actually SHOW people what I got for my birthday instead of just trying to explain the best I could!
